Beyond The Bulb LLC was built by Madison and Jake with a clear vision to make energy efficient upgrades simple, honest, and truly valuable for business owners.

Madison’s background started on the utility side, working as an account manager processing rebate incentive application and coordinating directly with contractors. Through that experience, he saw where the process broke down, missed opportunities, confusing programs, and customers not getting the full value available to them. That insight led to a natural transition into building something better.

As a hands-on owner, Madison is still actively involved in the field, walking properties, performing detailed energy assessments, and working directly with customers to identify real opportunities for savings.

Jake, Madison’s brother, brings a different but equally important skillset. As an attorney with experience across multiple areas of business and operations, he helps oversee the structure, strategy, and growth of the company. Together, they have built a strong foundation that combines field expertise with professional oversight.

What started as a small single territory operation has grown into a multi-program, multi -state company. Today, Beyond the Bulb delivers accurate on-site assessments, develops customized lighting upgrade plans plus the installation, and works directly with utility companies to secure the maximum available incentives for customers.

We do not believe in generic proposals or surface level solutions. Every project is built around how a facility actually operates, ensuring upgrades are practical, cost effective, and easy to move forward with.
